Michael is a native of Salzburg, Austria. He is director of AVT and experienced in leading bike tours for Americans with Eric. He helps to arrange hotel accommodations, transportation, and access to points of historical interest. He is an enthusiastic cyclist and golfer, with a great upbeat personality that always appeals to his American guests.
Eric Peterson
Eric’s passions are cycling and European culture. He has cycled hundreds of miles in Europe, traveling solo and with family and friends. Prior to 2005 he spent four years organizing and leading summer tours for a well-established European cycling company. In his “other life” he is a successful businessman in Ohio, with a reputation for quality and attention to detail.\r\nEric heads up the US office and is the first contact for all inquiries about our various active vacation opportunities. In the summer he will be in Europe to lead tours and ensure that your trip is well-organized, safe….and the best you’ve ever had.
Alfred Quintus
Alfred is Michael’s father. He’s also led tours with Eric, and all his guests have enjoyed his knowledge of central Europe, his warmth, and his sense of humor. He has hosted the farewell dinner at his home in Salzburg, a very special occasion. He is employed part-time by AVT to organize and guide tours.
Monika Quintus
Monika is Michael’s kid sister, and a pharmacist in Salzburg. As a summer employee for AVT, she will be providing picnics, arranging tee times, suggesting places to shop, greeting happy golfers as they walk off the 18th hole, and generally assisting wherever the team and guests need her pleasant personality and English skills.
